Three birds were sold at the show. They now have new homes. Thank you to all that came to see
my both and latest creations. I am very Happy the Burrowing owl is sold. The killdeer was well
received and had many likes.

                                                 market. Dec. 8,9,10th. From 10 to 4.

Alabaster stone Carvings

Both works of art have been created from solid stone. The Alabaster gives
a icy look that enhances the sculpture. Lots of fun to create.

Bottega Christmas show 2016

Just a reminder, that the Bottega Christmas show is on November 26th and 27.
 From 11am to 5pm each day . I am in the main hall and I have been working
hard to bring lots of new items to this year's show.

 The show was a big success , I sold three Santas and two Hummingbirds,
and many art cards........Thankyou to all who stopped to view my art.

On display at Lee Valley tool store

Lee Valley in Kelowna B.C. is displaying 6 sculptures.They have asked
me to teach some basic carving workshops in winter 2017. Very kind
of them to give me this opportunity.

Unpainted California Quail was purchased, but customer wanted it painted.

Bird made from Soap Stone.

Carving Soapstone is fun and easy.

The material is soft; once you 

achieve your shape, start sanding with

different papers. Finish with polyurethane.

Repair of California Quail

Broken top knot of Quail.

New top knot .

This Quail looks much happier with his top knot restored.

Repairing a broken bird.

Feet and corner broken off of tail.

I carved a larger block of wood.

New wood glued into place.

Repair is painted and is good as new.

Ready for happy owner to pick up.

Gold finches have a new lease of life and proud owner is very pleased.
